  • A painted tabletop map in rich colour, with snowy peaks, castles and a great wall standing up in raised 3D relief. Only six places are named. The long wall is the Asterwall, a towered stone wall flying blue banners. It runs right across the realm from the western forests to the eastern sea, sealing the green lands off from the north. Beyond it the land splits in two. The Vaelthorn Peaks to the north west are a mass of snowy mountains crossed by Highmere Pass. The Emberfang Range to the north east is a burning volcanic waste, where an erupting cone sends red lava rivers through black towers and dead trees towards the sea. South of the wall lies Veyphold, a walled city wrapped by a river with waterfalls tumbling past it. A harbour town sits on Serpent's Reach, where a large sea serpent rears from the waves with its coils behind it. There is no scale bar. Vaelthorn and Emberfang are names reused on other maps.

  • A black-and-white pen-and-ink continent on cream, finely hatched with no colour, its cliffs drawn so they stand up from the sea. The crater is the Caldera of Namar, a huge round pit with steep fluted walls. A walled city fills its floor in concentric rings around a central citadel, with one road leading out to the south. The volcanic range is the Ashenfang Range in the north east. Three cones smoke there, and pale lava rivers run down through Cinderwold and the Emberdown Plains. Veyrath and Thornmere are forested lands in the west. The Blackfen Marshes, the Weeping Fields, the Sunderwood and the lake of Dreadmere fill the south east. The sea is busy with monsters: an octopus in the Mournwater Sea, a whirlpool at the Drowning Maw, and dragon-headed serpents in the Shattered Deep and Stormhollow Sea. The scale bar is in both kilometres and miles. Grimholt is labelled twice, and Veyrath, Thornmere and Ashenfang are reused names.

  • A painted tabletop map, 'Lands Around the Veyr Sea', in rich colour, with peaks, forests and towers standing up in raised relief inside a blue-and-gold border. One great inland sea fills the middle. The northern shore is cut into the Fjords of Nareth, a row of narrow snowy inlets between the Stormspine Range and the Icevein Peaks. The marsh is Mournfen in the south east, a misty maze of channels and islets. At its heart lies Lost Elthara, a great drowned city of domes, towers and long causeways half under water. Stillwake Monastery stands at its edge. The sea holds a dragon-headed serpent by Serpent Isle, a kraken near the southern shore, and the castle rocks of the Twin Crowns. Around the rim lie Eldergrove, High Torvane, Riverath, the Bleeding Woods and the red Redspires, with the dwarven-sounding Kharaz Dûm in the south. The scale bar runs to 300 leagues. Nareth, Mournfen and Veyr Sea are reused names.

  • A painted tabletop archipelago in bright turquoise and green, the islands raised so their cliffs, castles and red-roofed towns stand up from the water. The vineyards are the Tiravel Vineyards on the largest island in the north west. Neat green terraces climb its slopes towards a hilltop castle, with a waterfall on the western cliff and a busy harbour below. Iserra in the south repeats the pattern with its own stepped vines and windmill. The chalk cliffs are the Celestra Cliffs, a long white wall of cliffs on the north-eastern island with a lighthouse town on top. In front of them stand the Starfall Stacks, a row of tall white sea stacks. Valdoria is the walled capital on the central island. Lythmere, Marrow Isle, Seren Isle and Galewind Isle fill out the rest, and dashed routes link them across Myrglass Sound and Orenth Bay. Seven sailing ships ride between the islands. The scale bar runs to 100 leagues. Veyran, Valdoria and Stormhollow are reused names.

The swamp is the Mire of Thalos, 'The Sinking Lands', spreading across the south as a maze of winding channels and islets with ruined towers at Blackreeds, Murkfen, Tallow Isle and Fenholt. Between the two lies open farmland, with Castle Orwyn on a hill and roads linking Brindleford, Maplewick, Westfell and Sablemere. Silverwatch is a port on the Cerulean Sea, where two ships sail. Four wind faces blow from captioned corners, and a stag-flanked crest holds the scale bar, which runs to 30 leagues. Eldervane, Veyrwood, Mire of Thalos and Ravenford all appear on other maps here.

The steppes are the Veldrin Steppes in the north east, open yellow grassland where horse riders cross between round tent camps at Tarak Camp, Karak Camp and Eshar Khal. The marsh is the Mire of Seluth in the south west, a teal wetland of reeds and mist. Inside it lie the ruins of Sunken Thalora, rows of broken columns and arched aqueducts standing in the water. Ports ring the shore, including Kelmere, Rhaven, Haldun, Orvan, Zartha and Morgrath. The Karveth Mountains and the Golden Marches close off the south east. The scale bar runs to 400 leagues. The outflow becomes a broad river that runs through Caldris, the walled capital. Its red-roofed streets and spired keep sit right on the riverbank before the water reaches the sea. Port Avel is a second harbour town on the Sienna Reach. The Redhelm Peaks, Valewood and the Amber Heights fill the east, while the Duskfell Moors and Mistgrove lie west. Smaller isles include the volcanic Ashenwake Isles, Skymere, Sunspire and Ebonmere Isle, and six sailing ships ride between them. The scale bar runs to 200 leagues. On its floor the city of Orunhold rises in concentric rings around a tall spired citadel, with a waterfall spilling out to the south. The marsh is the Mire of Selwyn in the south west, a misty maze of islets, dead trees and ruined arches. It opens onto Drowned Namar, a sunken city of domes, towers and broken aqueducts standing in clear turquoise shallows. The Stormspine Peaks and Dragonwatch rise in the north west, and the Ashen Crests glow with lava in the east. Sableharbor is a busy walled port with a long arched quay. In the Serpent Deep a large kraken drags a three-masted ship down. The scale bar runs to 100 miles. Veyrath, Mire of Selwyn, Namar and Sableharbor are reused names.

  • A hand-tinted copperplate continent map in soft blue, tan and green, its cartouche of rearing lions reading 'Lands of Ancient Kings, Rivers Deep, Forests Eternal'. The north is winter. The Frostcrown Range rises over the Frostmere Lakes, a cluster of frozen lakes drawn with cracked ice, and the Silverspine Woods spread east in snowy pine forest with a stag among the trees. The chalk cliffs are the Ivory Cliffs along the eastern coast, a tall white wall broken by sea arches. In front of them Seraph's Stacks and the Stormglass Isles rise as white sea stacks. Brighthelm stands on the clifftop. Caer Veylan is the castle capital in the middle, linked by rivers to Thalewick, Rivenholt, Eldenmere and Moorsend. The Harrowfell Peaks and the volcanic Ashen Wilderlands fill the west. A whale spouts in the Dawning Deep beside three dolphins. The scale bar runs to 400, labelled 'a league of one hundred miles'. Vaeloria, Frostmere, Ivory Cliffs and Caer Veylan are reused names.

  • A hand-tinted copperplate island kingdom in soft green, tan and blue, its tree shield held by a lion and a unicorn above the motto 'Lands Ancient, Peoples Enduring, Seas Ever Wide'. The farmland fills the middle in a neat patchwork of hedged fields, with villages at Greenhollow, Highmead and the Goldenreach Fields. The castle capital, Eldermere, stands on an island in its own lake. The ruins run across the north east. The Shattered Way is a line of broken arches and towers marching along an old road towards the Aurelian Ruins and the bare Cindermoor Heath. In the south the Sunken Temples stand half drowned in a bay beside the harbour city of Duskhaven. The Frostcrown Peaks, the Stoneheart Wilds and the Mournwood Forest close off the north. A large whale and six dolphins swim in the Azure Deep. Three sea serpents rise along the coasts. The scale bar runs to 60 leagues. Eldermere, Shattered Way, Mournwood and Thornwick are all reused names.

  • A frost-blue world map in white, slate and pale blue, with every coast rimmed in ice and floes drifting through the seas. Five continents sit around the Northreach and Stillwater Oceans. The lone sacred mountain is Mount Vaeloryn on Nareth in the south west, a single tall peak wrapped in a ring of white cloud and rising above the Galren Peaks and the Winterwood. The salt country fills the eastern continent. The Silversalt Expanse is a vast cracked white plain with Kharuun, Sahri, Zarresh and Qamur around its edge. Below it the grey Ashenwaste and the Mire of Echoes hold dead trees. Vyldor in the north west carries the Skarve Peaks and the Kareth Icefield, Ilyss holds the Rimewald forest, and Thryn lies in the south east. Small island groups include the Veiled, Seraphine and Cairn Isles. A four-item legend lists salt flats and glaciers, and the scale bar runs to 2,000 leagues. Nareth, Kareth and Frostmere are reused names.

  • A black-and-white pen-and-ink map on cream, finely hatched with no colour, showing the lands around one great inland sea, the Sea of Vaelor. A wind face blows from each corner. The canyon is Thornrift Canyon in the south west, a deep sheer-walled gorge that cuts diagonally from the sea's shore through the Dreadspine Mountains. A single bridge crosses it near Redgate. The swamp is the Mire of Selwyn, filling the whole eastern shore with winding channels and islets crowded with ruined towers and drowned halls, around Blackreed Fen, Gloomwade and Mirewatch. The sea is calm, with seven sailing ships, the Stormhollow Isles, the Twin Crowns, the Ashen Isles and a small sea serpent. Walled cities ring the shore: Kestrelmere, Veyrhold, Caelthorn, Ordan Reach, Dunmere and Talaris. The scale bar runs to 500 leagues. Thornrift Canyon, Mire of Selwyn, Veyrhold, Stormhollow and Talaris are all names used on other maps in this gallery.
